Limoncello, developed in southern Italy along the Sorrentine Peninsula, is a delightful Italian lemon liqueur that is incredibly easy to make. This perfect summer drink is made by soaking lemon peels in high proof alcohol then, after allowing sufficient time for the lemon peels to macerate, adding simple syrup.
