Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples peeled, cored, and diced into very small pieces
  • Eggs-3 large
  • Milk- 2 cups *only one picture because I didn’t have a cup large enough
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Bread-I used 5 cups of chunked cinnamon bread
  • Cinnamon- 1 teaspoon for apples. If you do not use cinnamon bread, add an additional teaspoon or more depending on your preference.
  • Brown Sugar- 1/2 cup for bread pudding + 3 tablespoons for cooking apples.

Perfect recipe for Fresh Apples! this is the perfect recipe for fresh off the tree tart varieties. Working with fresh apples is a really “juicy” experience. I am always so surprised at just how different they are verses store bought brands. I swear, they are just so much more juicier, and taste a million times better. I mean, you really cannot get any fresher than right off the tree. Plus, they do not have that yucky wax coating on them so it helps wonders for peeling.
