Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup apple juice (divided)
- 2-3 tablespoons honey mustard
- 2 tablespoons worchestshire sauce
- 1 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, divided (regular or honey flavor works best)
- 4 1/2lb rack of pork ribs
- pork seasoning to taste
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup whiskey
Recipe Description
Delicious smoked pork ribs with an amazing glaze. Ribs can be challenging since it’s easy to get them dried out. The key here is to cook them the last couple of hours in a pan covered or wrapped in foil in a bath of apple juice. The juice flavor keeps the ribs moist while giving them a complimentary sweet (but not too sweet) flavor that goes so well with barbecue.
