- 10-12 Lb. Boston Butt
- Lawry\'s Red Seasoning Rub
- 2 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
This is my go to favorite for when I have company coming over. I watch for sales on Boston Butts and put them in the freezer. Two nights before I put it in the fridge to defrost. The day they are coming, I slow cook it in the oven then we finish it in the outdoor smoker I found for $45 at Walmart. It tastes better than any BBQ you will find at any restaurant.
This is for a 10-12 lb Boston Butt. Rub the Boston Butt down with Lawrys Red Seasoning Salt and Marinate in Worcestershire Sauce Overnight. Early morning, put the Butt in the oven at 300 for 4 hours, keeping it completely covered with foil or a lid. After 4 hours, take it out of the oven and put it in your smoker. Let smoke for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your taste. We like the outside really done and crunchy. Cut it up and serve with BBQ sauce and buns or all by itself. It is delicious.
