Recipe Description

Oooooo I just love a good, baked donut. Yup, you read that right….baked, not fried! Not only does it save on the calories, meaning you can eat more donuts, but it also is much easier to bake and clean up. No messy oil, grease splatters, etc.

A few years back, my hubby and I found donut pans at our local store. Since we both LOVE donuts, we knew we had to have them. We set out to make all types of donuts and over the years, we have made some REALLY good ones. Pumpkin, cinnamon sugar, chocolate, chocolate peppermint, Kahlua, etc.

A few weekends ago, we realized we hadn’t made donuts in a long time and we were due (hehe). My husband decided to make chocolate glazed donuts since its my daughters favorite and she was his helper that morning! The two of them had these ready for the oven in no time and once baked, the donuts were incredibly moist, chocolate filled, and the glaze was the perfect addition!

We ended up doubling the recipe to have leftovers for the next morning, but these also make a great snack or dessert!!

If you like donuts, definitely try these out!! If you don’t have a donut pan, I highly recommend getting one, but you can also pipe the batter into circles on a cookie sheet to substitute!!

Enjoy!
