Recipe Description
As a Grandmother, raising her granddaughter, I find myself in the kitchen at 6am making breakfast and snacks trying to get creative and give her healthy foods. As a young mother, I just threw boxed snacks in my son's lunch box and called it a day. I watched them struggle with weight at an early age and wonder what I should have done differently and that I was part of their weight problem. So, I plan on making better choices this time around. Here are some great snack ideas to send with your son or daughter that you can feel good about.
Here are a few links to great snacks that are not so bad for your school age child. Easy, not too expensive and something they will enjoy.
