- 500g plums, pitted and quartered
- 70g white sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 2 orange peels
- Juice from 1 large orange

Kaiserschmarrn is a warm Austrian dessert that starts like a regular pancake, but it is shredded into small bits and served with a zesty, juicy plum or apple compote. It’s a dessert perfect for fall, but can easily be adapted for other season by replacing the plums with other fruits. Incredibly delicious!
