Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg yolk
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ pure maple syrup
- 1-2 Tbsp water as needed
Recipe Description
These Maple Sugar Cookies are simple and delicious. You don’t need a ton of ingredients or fancy decorations – they are perfect on their own. Sweet and soft, with the yummy flavour of pure maple syrup. If you’d like to kick it up a notch, you can dip them in a maple glaze or brush them with maple syrup straight out of the oven and then dust them with coarse sugar.
