Growing up, my mom would make monkey bread on occasion, and I remember both my brother and I going crazy over it. Since it was a rare treat, we always ate a few servings worth, and of course, had major sugar highs. Now that I am a mom, I love when I too can make things from my childhood, for my family.

Last weekend, I wanted to make something new, yummy, and kid friendly for breakfast. Since I had a few packages of Pilsbury biscuits in my fridge (thank you for being on sale at the store, hehe), I decided to make monkey bread, only in muffin form. BIG SUCCESS!!! The kids LOVED these, and begged for me to make them again. They were the perfect serving size, not messy, and I was able to control the amount my kiddos ate, so I didn’t have three sugar crazy kids running around that morning.
