Recipe Description
My sweet tooth, my Achilles heel, what would I do without a little sugar in my life? I know, I know it is not good for you, but everything in moderation, right? Exceptions must be made, especially when it comes to chocolate. When I was growing up, my sister and I would go stay at our Nana and Poppy’s house for a week during the summer. My Nana was an awesome southern cook. She had a bar in the kitchen where I used to sit and watch her work her magic. I wish I had a picture of the kitchen. All of the appliances were avocado green and there were splashes of yellow throughout the room. One of my favorite recipes Nana would make is her congo squares or chocolate chip bars. They are filled with chocolate chips and are so satisfying to my sweet tooth.
