- 1 cup butter
- 1⅛ cup sugar
- 1¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup crunchy peanut butter (can use creamy)
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1½ tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2½ cups quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (for the frosting)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup hot milk

A quick and easy cookie bar. Peanut butter cookie with a great chocolate frosting. The perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate. It is baked in a 9×13 pan so it can serve a large group but is so easy to whip up it is no stress. When I take this to a BBQ there is never anything left and I get so many compliments. When I make it just for family and don’t want the whole pan sitting around (because then I WILL eat it) I cut them and freeze them on a cookie sheet and thaw one at a time when I am craving peanut butter.
