- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- peanut butter frosting
Recipe Description
A layer of peanut butter frosting in between two cookies makes the best peanut butter sandwich! These peanut butter cookies are the same as my Grandma used to bring us by the ice cream pail when my brother and I were kids. We’ve changed nothing about the cookie recipe she used other than the floured fork imprint.
