- 1 cup canola oil
- 4 large eggs
- 3-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2/3 cup water
- one 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree
- ½ cup or more raw, shelled pumpkin seeds (optional)
- ½ cup or more, chocolate morsels (optional)
- 1 recipe Vanilla Coconut Icing (optional)
