Ingredients
- 2¼ cups water, divided
- ⅓ cup cornmeal
- ¼ cup sugar
- 3 TBSP vegetable oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 TBSP + 1½ tsp active dry yeast (2 packets)
- 2 eggs
- 6-6½ cups flour*
- 4 TBSP melted butter, divided + 3 TBSP cornmeal, to top rolls
Recipe Description
I found this recipe for dinner rolls made with cornmeal a while ago and knew they’d be incredible. I adore homemade bread in any form but there’s something amazing about soft & buttery rolls that just came out of the oven. These have got to be one of my favorite recipes for rolls ever. They have a lovely flavor and the texture- it’s light and feathery and just perfect.
