Recipe Description
There is just something warm and comforting about a plate of warm southern cornbread and a softened stick of butter sitting on the table. It reminds me of cold evenings by the fire with a big bowl of homemade chili but it also makes me think of warm southern evenings outside by the grill with pulled pork and baked beans.

I’m just a southern girl that married a military man & moved to the coast. Which led to becoming a veteran’s wife and being dragged back to my hometown kicking and screaming. Now I live here on the VA/NC state line with my awesome husband and our three dogs. I’m just trying to find the joy in everything, working on traveling as much as possible and fumbling my way around my kitchen as I embrace my southern roots ~xoxo Angie
