Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries pureed
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 8 ounce box cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 egg
Recipe Description
These Strawberry Cream Cheese Muffins are so delicious! You can whip these up in a few minutes and bake time is only about twenty five minutes. I used frozen strawberries but you could certainly puree fresh strawberries. Over the years my husband and I have found that frozen strawberries are sweeter than their fresh peers because they have been allowed to fully ripen on the vine before they are quickly frozen.
