The month of March arrived on the coat tails of February’s final and bitterly cold days of nearly 20 degrees below zero. To say that most of us in the mid-west are over this winter would be an understatement, yet we realize full well there is little we can do about this unending season of chill. This is precisely what prompted me to realize that there was one thing that could be done – turn it into a season of chili. This past weekend we hosted a chili cook-off on our facebook page, and what a great response we had. We are grateful to the over 30 folks who dropped off their best chili – drool on to see some of the highlights.
