Recipe Description

Today, I’m excited to share with you a recipe from the March 1931 edition of the Farmer’s Wife Magazine. This magazine was published in Minnesota and ran from 1893 to 1939. Although the magazine is no longer going, the recipes are still all around and being used! There’s now a great series of cookbooks that is packed full with those exact recipes from the magazine.

So today I’m sharing these biscuits from “The Farmer’s Wife Harvest Cookbook”. They come out of the oven warm and flaky, and you just can’t wait to dig into them! Not only are they super quick to pull together, but they’re also quite simple (only 5 ingredients!).
