Some of the products used in this recipe for Frozen Mocha Chai Latte were received complimentary from Dugustabox.  As always, all words and opinions are my own!  #DegustaboxUSA

Frozen Mocha Chai Latte  -  This tasty frozen beverage tastes like something straight from your expensive coffee shop, except it is easily made at home for a fraction of the price!

The beginning of each month is starting to be an exciting time for me.

    Why, you ask?

Because that is when my Degustabox arrives!

I'm seriously like a cross between a kid on Christmas morning and a contestant out for blood on Chopped.  I rip through the box like a mad woman.

Each item coming out is usually new to me and I can't wait to try.  So far there have been items the kids are interested in too, so they are getting just as excited as me when it arrives!

I keep saying I will take a video of myself opening the box and show you each item on the video.  The problem is I can't help myself and I open it before I can even think about grabbing the camera.   I consider it a job well done that I even took a still picture.

Although, I didn't even do a good job with that because in my "reveal" photo, it's missing the White Lily Flour.  #Fail. As soon as I saw it, I had to bring it over to the computer and Google it and find out what kind of recipes it could be used for and forgot to bring it back over.  In case your wondering it can be swapped cup for cup with wheat flour.

Okay, so before I get to the Frozen Mocha Chai Latte (BTW, I'm drinking one as I'm typing this), I'll tell you what was in this month's box:

    • ALO Allure Pulp Free Beverage
    • Pop Chips (Cheddar & Sour Cream)
    • Goetze's Cow Tales (Vanilla)
    • White Lily White Grape and Wheat Flour
    • Sir Kensington's Chipotle Mayonnaise
    • Post Honey Bunches of Oats (w/ strawberry)
    • Oregon Chai Tea Latte
    • Loacker Rose of the Dolomite
    • Goya Maria Cookies
    • Vermont Smoke & Cure Mini Meat Sticks

The Cow Tales immediately got packed in my bag to take on vacation this week.  Those will make a nice secret treat for me while the kids are in the lake! Sssh, don't tell on me!

The ALO drink pleasantly surprised me.  I drank it down and really enjoyed it.  Super refreshing.  Just be sure to chill it. ALO is totally something I would never have picked up at the store to try but now that it was sent to me, I'm pretty psyched to have found something new to enjoy!  I will be keeping my eye out for it now, that's for sure!

The Pop Chips mysteriously disappeared and nobody wants to cop to it, so I'm guessing that means they were good!  I just can't figure out which one of them ate them!

So, I was really wanting to try the chai latte but it was super hot out and I was sweating.  I happened to glance over and saw my blender and knew it was totally transformable into a frozen drink.  BINGO!

Then as it was blending away, I was like "duh, why didn't I add chocolate?".  So, I added it and I  can assure you, it wasn't the worst decision I've ever made!
