Recipe Description

If you love Cream Cheese, you will love this bread pudding.  It is simple, fast and everyone loves this dessert.  It is also cool because you can make it with left over hamburger buns you may have never used.  This is a smaller portion, so perfect for a couple or single person wanting something sweet to eat.

Recipe Directions

Heat oven to 350.  In a large bowl combine 3 large eggs, 1 1/2 cups of milk (you can use low fat but I use whole) a teaspoon of vanilla and 1/4 cup cinnamon/sugar mixture.  The cinnamon sugar mixture I keep on hand for all things.  1 teaspoon cinnamon to 1 cup sugar: mix well.

Mix all together like you are making scrambled eggs.  Take one block of cream cheese and cut it up in little blocks.  Put into mixture:  Then, Take 6 hamburger buns.  You can use any brand and even wheat.  I used honey wheat and it was delicious.  Tear apart the buns in small pieces and put into liquid mixture.  Stir it up good.  Let this soak for about 10 minutes.

Spray a small loaf style pan and put mixture in.  Bake in the over for 35 minutes or until top is brown.  When it take it out, top with a little bit of butter and sprinkle some more cinnamon sugar mixture on top.  Let sit for 10 minutes to cool.
