- 2-1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened to room temperature
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Recipe Description
These Chocolate Chip cookies have a chewy texture with a crisp edge, perfectly browned and chewy and soft in the center. This recipe takes only a half hour to make and makes 5 dozen to feed a crowd or happily feed yourself! I recommend using a medium cookie scoop to get perfectly proportioned cookies every time.
