I used to love going over to my Grand parents house anytime but especially when Grandma was making Minestrone. You can not go wrong when a soup starts with bacon or pancetta your choice. Pair the bacon with some veggies and pasta noddles and you have a hearty soup that fills and warms your tummy. Make sure not to forget the crusty warm bread to serve it with so you have something to “mop” up all the wonderful broth.
