Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup poppy seeds
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- â cup lemon zest (approx. 3 lemons)
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup lemon juice (approx. 2 lemon)
Recipe Description
A classic combination of lemon and poppyseeds in this pretty Bundt. It is perfectly moist and delicious, with a rich lemon flavour. If you don’t like poppyseeds, you could leave them out entirely. If you’d like a bit more sweetness, you can cover it in a simple powdered sugar/water glaze. If you don’t have a Bundt pan, this can just as easily be made into a layer cake.
