- 1/2 oz citric acid
- 1 lemon
- 2 1/4 lb sugar
- 2 1/2 pints water

I think everybody already heard about elderflower syrup, but what about lilac syrup? Yes you heard right. You can conjure a outstanding syrup from the lilac umbels and a super fresh cocktail as well. The color is definitely a huge bonus for me. Depending on the color of the flowers you get a more or less pink liquid.
