- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground ginger (optional, but adds amazing flavour!)
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ cup (120g) butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 14oz can (398ml) pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 4 Tbsp water or milk

If you’re looking for an easy and delicious recipe for the Fall season, this is it! A delicious, moist pumpkin bread with a hint of ginger. It’s really the perfect compliment to afternoon tea, dessert, or even as a quick bit for breakfast! This recipe makes TWO loaves. If you only want one (though I can’t imagine why), you can halve the recipe.
