Ripe peaches are a great snack and when you can make a quick dessert that tastes delicious with just a few ingredients, that makes for a delicious snack.  This peach dump cake is an easy recipe, looks beautiful and can be served with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.  It is a great dessert for an outdoor gathering or just for family night dinner. Enjoy!

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF degrees.
  • Coat the inside of a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Pour both cans of peaches or cut up fresh peaches 3-4 cups and pour into the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mix over the top of the peaches. 
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Evenly distribute the thin butter slices over the top of the cake mix.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the cake mix becomes golden brown. Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
