Ingredients
- 1 pie crust (pre-made or our recipe - see link below)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- pinch of salt
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup pecans
Recipe Description
This pecan pie recipe has been in my family for decades. It’s not only decadent, it’s easy to make, is quite nice to look at, most importantly for me, it has a story, or rather a person behind it. This recipe came from the wife of my late father’s best friend who has also been gone for sometime now. This may look like just a pecan pie but in our family, it is known as Betty Briscoe’s Pecan Pie.
