Recipe Description
A delicious Pine Nut & Rosemary Apple Butter Cake that makes your kitchen smell like Italy! Traditional apple yeast cake like my Grandmother used to make, with a Mediterranean-inspired Pine Nut & Rosemary topping.
Pine nuts are one of my favourite ingredient in salads but they are also great on sweet treats – a great alternative to walnuts or almonds. The topping of this Pine Nut & Rosemary Apple Butter Cake tastes like heaven, the combination of different flavours and the sweet cinnamon butter under the apples which infuses the dough makes a star out of this “normal” apple cake.
