- 1 banana
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 inch chunk ginger
Recipe Description
This Strawberry Ginger Smoothie is the perfect Vitamin C packed treat. It’s sweet, fiery and perfect for getting you through this cold season. You can use fresh or frozen ingredients for this recipe. Of course if you keep it fresh you may want to add a few ice cubes to the final product to keep it chilled. I like to keep peeled, ripe bananas in the freezer to use at a moments notice in smoothies so that I don’t need to add any ice. I can always throw a whole chunk of ginger in our Blendtec with no problem, but depending on the strength of your blender you may want to mince the ginger first.
