  • ¾ cup Dwaraka Organic Toor Dal
  • ¼ cup Chopped Onions
  • ¼ cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 sticks Dwaraka Organic Red Chilli Whole
  • 1 stick Green Chilli, Slit
  • 4 Crushed Garlic
  • 4 Curry Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Coriander, Chopped
  • ½ tbsp Dwaraka Organic Groundnut Oil
  • ½ tsp Dwaraka Organic Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Dwarka Organic Cumin Whole
  • ½ tsp Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste

Recipe Description

Ingredients:
 ¾ cup Dwaraka Organic Toor DalWashed and Drained
 ¼ cup Chopped Onions
 ¼ cup Chopped Tomatoes
 2 sticks Dwaraka Organic Red Chilli WholeBroken into Pieces
 1 stick Green Chilli, Slit
 4 Crushed Garlic
 4 Curry Leaves
 2 tbsp Coriander, Chopped
 ½ tsp Asafoetida
 Salt to taste

 

Method:

In a pressure cooker, take the Toor dal, onions, tomatoes, green chilli, turmeric and 2 cups of water. Cook them for 3 whistles.

Let the steam out, open, add salt and mix well.

Take a deep non-stick pan and sauté oil, cumin seeds, garlic, asafoetida, red chilli and curry leaves.

Sauté for 30 seconds in medium flame; then add red chilli and sauté for 30 seconds.

Add the dal mixture. Mix well and cook for 4 minutes on medium flame.

Add coriander and serve hot with rice.
