  • 32 oz ricotta cheese(I use part skim)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper, freshly cracked
  • ¼ C parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 T parsley, freshly chopped
  • 16 oz lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into slices or squares
  • 2 jars Ragú Homestyle Pasta Sauce (any variety)
  • Fresh basil for garnish.

Classic Italian recipes get a bum rap for being difficult. Here I have taken lasagna down to the basics. This is a homestyle lasagna recipe that anyone can make. This is perfect for the beginner cook but can be an old stand by for even the most seasoned home chef. Noodles are layered with sauce and cheese and baked to perfection. Using a jarred sauce will cut down on prep time but homemade is good too.
