- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 4,5 oz butter
- 3,5 oz brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- FILLING&TOPPING:
- 3,5 oz pecans
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp butter
- 7,4 oz dark chocolate couverture
- 3/4 cup cream
Recipe Description
And here is our first birthday cake to celebrate the birthday of our blog. It’s a chocolate pecan cake. Pretty much chocolate with gorgeous, caramelized pecans in maple syrup. Pecans are usually not included in our everyday food. But while enjoying this cake I have to believe I reconsider. This pecans must be eaten more often. So now try this delicious cake and celebrate this wonderful day with us.
