Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 eggs
- 2 T parsley, freshly chopped
- ¼ C grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ C breadcrumbs, dry, seasoned
- 2 T milk
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly cracked
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- (optional: ½ sweet onion, grated)
- 2 jars prepared marinara sauce, or use recipe for My Favorite Marinara
Recipe Description
Growing up in a house with Italians fresh off the boat, it’s hard to find a meatball that satisfies me. This meatball is as close to the way I had them growing up as it gets. Old school recipe where the meatball simmers in the sauce, no frying, no baking, no nothing but good flavors and a moist fluffy meatball!
