Ingredients
- 4 each egg yolks
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 pkg. pecans
- 1 pkg. coconut
Recipe Description
By far, this is my favorite frosting. I grew up with it as my mother made it to frost her homemade German Chocolate Cakes. It’s rich, decadent, sweet and the pecans add such flavor and texture along with the coconut. It’s easy to make. I could literally just eat the frosting with a spoon and all my sweet tooth cravings would melt away.
