Ingredients
- 2 C flour, all purpose
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 10 T butter
- 1 C brown sugar
- ½ C white granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 C chocolate chips, semi sweet
- 1 C m&ms, divided (red & green for xmas)
- Non-stick spray
Recipe Description
These bars are chewy and buttery and full of bits of chocolate. I’ve added tons of festive red and green m&ms to make this the perfect Christmas dessert. Stack 4 or 5 in a treat bag and give as a gift to a teacher, neighbor, mail carrier of friend. Bring along to your holiday party or just surprise the kids after school like I did!
