Ingredients
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage, (any kind, mild, sage, hot)
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon worchershire sauce
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (room temperature)
- 2 packages crescent rolls or sheets (sheets are better)
Recipe Description
This is one that is hard to stop eating, might want to fix two of them. Huge, huge hit with family and friends. Great for a snack while watching your favorite game on TV. Best if you eat in the same day, while they are still warm, but you won't have any problems with them disappearing. I am not a big cream cheese person, but these are changing my mind about that.
Recipe Directions
- Brown sausage, with chopped onion, drain.
- Mix in one teaspoon of worchershire sauce.
- Mix thoroughly with cream cheese.
- Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on baking sheet. (press seams together if not using the sheets).
- Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent dough, leaving 1/2" border.
- Put the other crescent roll on top of sausage mixture.
- Press all edges together to seal.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until crescent rolls are nicely browned.
- Cut into small squares, pizza cutter is great for this.
