Recipe Description

Today, there’s something typically Franconian. “Stadtwurst” with music. You don’t have to worry, there will be no problems with different musical tastes. Because the music is the dressing for our sausage. This franconian “salad” is a perfect snack. Serve it with a delicious farmhouse bread and maybe a fresh beer. This recipe is a wish from a dear friend, who connects some childhood memories with this dish.
So first of all I have to explain what this “Stadtwurst” is. It’s a typical franconian, boiled sausage composed of pork, beef, bacon and marjoram. You can probably use another spiced, boiled sausage instead. The next step is easy. Just chop the sausage, pickles and onion and add oil and vinegar (I used cider vinegar, because it has a fruity aroma). Season it with salt and pepper, grab a few slices of farmhouse bread and enjoy it.
