- 4 standard Strawberry or Red Velvet round cakes (If using a mix, you’ll need 2 boxes)
- White Icing for 4 round cakes (If using canned, you’ll need 3)
- Large bag of Valentine conversation hearts

This sweetheart surprise cake says it's for Valentine's Day, but it's so easy and fun to make, and so easy to customize that you could make it for any occasion. Make it for your office party, or your child's' class party, and I’m sure everyone will love the “surprise" inside! Once you do this the first time you’ll be dreaming up all kinds of fun things to put inside! It's also a great project to do with the kids!
