  • 1 long crusty bread, Italian, Sourdough, whatever you prefer.
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3.5 oz melted butter
  • 2 minced garlic cloves or 2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley, prefer fresh

This is so tasty! Quick and easy to fix. Perfect for Italian food. Putting in the mozzarella cheese makes it all stringy and gooey. My granddaughter is the person that I make something like this. We ended up eating the whole loaf in one nights time. If and I mean if, you have any left over, just wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Recipe Directions

  • Preheat oven at 350 degrees
  • Mix melted butter, garlic, salt, parsley
  • Cut bread, diaonal 1 inch, don't cut all the way through
  • Gently brush each slice and brush on the butter mix on each side, use all the butter mixture
  • Sprinkle the cheese in between each slice
  • Wrap all the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes
  • Open the top of the wrap and bake for 5 more minutes
