- ½ cup (50 grams) freshly grated parmesan cheese
- ½ cup (100 mls) white sauce
- For the Sauce
- ½ pound (300 grams) lean ground beef
- 2 cups (700 grams) tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons (27 grams) olive oil
- ½ teaspoon (3 grams) salt
- 1 teaspoon (1/2 gram) basil
- 3 leaves fresh basil (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon (1/2 gram) oregano
- 1 clove of garlic chopped
- 2 cups (450 grams) water
