  • 1 cup dry black beans, rinsed soaked and cooked (can substitute canned)
  • 3 medium roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 large red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 fresh jalapeƱo pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • juice of 2 fresh limes
  • 1 large bunch cilantro, stems removed & chopped
  • dash of your favorite hot sauce

Fresh, chunky and colorful. This salsa will please the whole crowd with it’s fresh flavor. This salsa is requested by family and friends wherever I go. It’s good on tortilla chips and also makes a flavorful topping to grilled salmon or chicken. Try it with your tacos too. I go heavy on the cilantro so if you are not a big fan, use about half what the recipe calls for.
