- 1/8 crushed fresh lavender

Beautiful and fragrant, the lavender plant isn't just for looks! It is also edible and the flowers and leaves can be used fresh, while both buds and stems can be used dried. Surprisingly it can be used for sweet and savory dishes alike, but if you're taking the sweet route, make sure you are careful not to use too much as it can quickly become bitter.
