- 1 package 12 ounce fettuccine
- 1 red pepper, sliced thin
- 1 medium onion cut into wedges
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese, more for topping
- 1/3 cup cooked ham cut into thin strips ( chicken can be used as well)
- 2 Teaspoons fresh or dried basil
