Ingredients
- 2 slices Rye Bread
- 1 ground beef patty (4-6 oz.)
- 1/2 cup Caramelized Onions
- 2-4 slices Swiss Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Butter for frying
Recipe Description
I love a good Patty Melt and used to order them all the time in restaurants. But now I make them at home. They’re quick, easy and totally delicious. And… It’s a great excuse to make Caramelized Onions as well. A true Patty Melt Sandwich can only be constructed with Rye Bread and ground Chuck. It must have a good cheese on it, along with the onions. You can even serve it with Russian Dressing, if you like.
