- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- salt
- black pepper fresh cracked
- 1 egg
- non stick spray
- 1 T chopped scallion
Recipe Description
If you are anything like me, you'd rather skip the sweet stuff first thing in the morning. Easy quick cooking oats are prepared using chicken broth/stock instead of water then seasoned simply with salt and pepper. A runny egg is served on top and then whole thing is finished with scallions. Bacon or sausage would be a great addition to this delicious breakfast as well.
