- Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened - 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup of plain soft goat cheese (or to taste)
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
2 jalapenos, finely chopped (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Pumpernickel round bread loaf (optional to make bread bowl) -
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, Goat cheese, garlic, salt and pepper (you can add mozzarella here if desired). Gently stir in artichoke hearts and spinach.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned.
- If using bread loaf cut about 1/2 inch off the top of the loaf with a serrated knife.
- Remove bread from the inside, making it hollow. Leave about 1 inch thick on the inside.
- Cut the removed bread into cubes for dipping and place alongside the bowl.
- Transfer mixture from oven to bread bowl and serve.
