• 1.5 lb boneless chicken breast 3-4 breasts
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/2 C sliced onions sweet onions
  • 4 cloves garlic minced or chopped
  • 3/4 C chicken stock or broth
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 C lemon juice fresh
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 1 T lemon zest
  • 1 T chopped parsley

Recipe Description

Super juicy, boneless chicken breasts topped with a lemon pan sauce. This lemon chicken pairs great with a creamy rice or any simply seasoned pasta or potato.  I prepared the chicken and the sauce in an Instant Pot so the time to prepare it was minimal.  I can't say enough for how juicy the instant pot leaves chicken.

Step 1

Brown the chicken then set aside.

Step 2

soften onions and garlic and then add sauce ingredients

Step 3

place the chicken back in the pot

Step 4

cover and set timer for 7 minutes

Step 5

thicken sauce
