Ingredients
- 2 squares puffed pastry thawed
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 4 thick slices of bacon
- 8-10 mushrooms
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- Pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar blend cheese
- Arugula to garnish
Recipe Description
Good things have been happening in the kitchen lately. Not only have I been sneaking in veggies, I prepped one meal and had enough left over for the next night! Bacon double cheeseburger tarts are light, crispy and a nice change using puffed pastry. Using the leftover beef mixture along with some of the caramelized onions, I had the makings of a great pasta sauce for another night!
