Ahhhhhhh Comfort Foods!  Chicken and Dumplings most certainly fall into that category and this recipe will surely deliver!  My Mom made this a lot when I was growing up.  It was great on those cold winter nights and with a nice crusty loaf of bread, well you get the picture.  I've added mushrooms to my Mom's recipe, but, if you don't like them you can leave them out, but, give it a try with them...you won't be dissappointed!
