Living in the South now, my hubby and I are enjoying all the new foods that are offered here. Sweet tea, BBQ, chicken fried chicken/steak, etc.

A few weeks ago, I was offered the opportunity to test out a meat tenderizer and my first thought was “I should try making chicken fried chicken” in my cast iron skillet. When I passed the idea along to my hubby, he was all on board and we both set out to make our homemade version!

The end result was fabulous and a definite must try!!
